Ms Mabaso is an admitted attorney with a right of appearance in the Supreme Courts of South Africa. She is originally Mpumalanga and obtained her qualifications at the University of Venda, Limpopo Province.

She began her legal career at Bright Rikhotso Incorporated as a candidate attorney where she gained her admission and exposure to several areas of law. She later joined Alabi Inc Attorneys where she focuses on general litigation, family law, labour and employment law, third-party claims, corporate and commercial law and appears in the lower and higher courts.
